Meet Martina: Founder of Telness Tech
Our Founder, Martina Klingvall, has years of experience in large scale digital transformation projects and customer experience. Having been in the industry working across the globe in Europe and Asia, Martina decided to branch out on her own when she noticed a gap in the market for an operator service - which led to the creation of Telness. Seeing the success and profitability of Telness, Martina decided to monetise on the software they built, in order to run a fully-automated digital telco that enables MVNOs and sub-brands to lower their operational expenditure and increase customer happiness. And that’s where Telness Tech’s story began.
What makes Telness Tech unique?
When we founded Telness, our operator service, we had no intention of developing our own software to create the digital telco - we wanted to work with third parties but we quickly realised there wasn’t anyone out there with the tools to create a seamless customer journey. That’s what makes Telness Tech different from others - it’s the only end-to-end solution out there for businesses in Sweden. How do we know this? Well, we’ve tested most of our competitors!
As we move further into the digital revolution, the telecoms industry continues to lag behind other industries in the tech space. What’s more, inflexible software solutions lead to poor overall customer satisfaction. I was bored of seeing the same companies offering the same services that were not only expensive, but also non-user friendly. At Telness Tech, we can migrate an existing MVNO or launch a completely new sub-brand in a matter of months, compared to years for a lot of our competitors. By streamlining our solutions and making them as accessible and self efficient as possible, we’re proud to say we can offer up to a 60% reduction in churn based on our customer experience. On top of that, we enable companies to reduce the number of operational staff significantly - knocking down customer support tickets by 80%. This is down to everything we offer being self service and intuitive. Also, all of our sales are 100% online. For us, this is our biggest success - creating a solution that works for our customers.
Why is customer experience so important to you?
Let’s face it - the telecoms industry isn’t the most exciting one in the world, people don’t want to spend more time than they need to resolve issues. When we look at other players who have been in the market for years, they all seem reluctant to innovate which, in turn, irritates the customer and also wastes money. By offering a complete solution that has customer experience in focus, we’re able to offer something different to others in the market - a solution that’s collaborative, flexible and easy to use.
We have a modular platform that can unlock many capabilities such as launching a digital brand or migrating an existing MVNO in order to increase the level of automation and customer happiness. When businesses need to move fast, our tech can be implemented in a matter of weeks allowing people to launch products quickly, with less risk.
By being digital-first, we’ve stripped back on costs meaning all attention goes into the things that matter. And since we have created a seamless customer experience within the site, it means most issues can be resolved by the customers themselves. What’s next for Telness Tech?
We’re already in the process of expanding following our very successful series A funding round. For the time being, we’re investing heavily into upscaling our offering and branching out into new countries.
