2024: The Year Telness Tech Made Its Mark in the Telecom Industry
As 2024 draws to a close, we find ourselves reflecting on an extraordinary year for Telness Tech. From groundbreaking innovations to significant strides in international markets, the past year has been nothing short of transformative. We are thrilled to share some highlights and our vision as we step into 2025.
During 2023 we were worried that our solution was too advanced, that we overshot the market. But during 2024 we saw that those worries were unfounded. The market was even more ready that we could ever imagine, our tech and the demand for it has been enormous – and even in multiple markets.
A Year of Growth and Innovation
We’re genuinely happy to see that the technology is already creating value for both current and new customers. Our vision to make Telecom a joyful experience is happening as we speak. Our tech helps our clients to differentiate, enable innovation, improve customer experiences and much more.
2024 has been a year of milestones. We expanded our platform in ways that directly impact the success of our customers, whether they are telecom operators, MVNOs, or enterprises. Strategic partnerships with major telecom players like T-Mobile, Transatel, and Lebara have been integral to our progress, while we successfully expanded into the US and signed several international customers across markets in North America, Europe and Africa.
Our business, product and team have also made significant strides. Some of the key advancements include:
Enhanced Stability and Functionality: Improvements to our PBX and calling systems, new support for credit card payments via Stripe, and expanded capabilities for number porting and provisioning.
API Innovations: Launch of the Telness Tech Connect API, enabling seamless integrations for customer-built e-commerce platforms, apps, and more.
Product Management Evolution: Added currency support, hardware and warranty management, and fully configurable pipelines for workflows like onboarding and fulfillment.
Cutting-Edge Features: From rolling out 5G as an add-on product to enabling Neural Text-to-Speech in PBX systems, we have ensured our offerings are both innovative and accessible.
Global Expansion: Significant milestones included our successful entries in the USA and Africa, integrating with partners for network connectivity, compliance with local regulations, and meeting the unique needs of these markets.
Each of these achievements stems from our core principles of automation, user experience, and self-service. Additionally, we have expanded our platform and delivery capabilities to ensure even faster delivery times, making us the obvious choice for market entries in Sweden and beyond, with network integrations covering 80% of the Swedish market.
Redefining Customer Engagement
In addition to our product and service achievements, we’re proud to have grown our team significantly. From only four mobile operators live in 2022, we now support 21, with 11 of them launched in under six weeks —a testament to our scalability and operational excellence. Over the course of 2024, we expanded our leadership team and promoted top talent, while also welcoming more than 50 amazing new colleagues across various roles and geographies. This expansion has been crucial in supporting our growth, driving innovation, and ensuring we deliver the best possible experience for our customers.
Beyond product advancements, 2024 has been about transforming how we serve and engage with our customers. Some of our key initiatives include
Team Expansion: To meet growing demand, we expanded our team in most across all departments, ensuring to serve both new and current customers in the best possible way as we scale.
Improved Support Systems: We revamped our SLAs, enabled support in different time-zones, and introduced modernized customer engagement tools. These changes have been well-received by our clients, with many highlighting the smoother and more reliable interactions they’ve experienced.
Streamlined Change Requests: Our new approach to providing estimates and resolving requests is already making a difference, with further improvements slated for early 2025. This transformation has garnered positive feedback from customers appreciating the faster turnaround times.
2024 has also brought Telness Tech significant recognition in market expansion, product innovation, delivery optimization, and the Telness Tech brand has garnered numerous accolades and media coverage that underscore the impact of our work.
