Digital marketing manager

Telecom is lacking behind other industries such as finance in terms of innovation and digital transformation. However, telco operators plan to invest £16 million in tech transformation over the next three years in fields such as cloud and SaaS. In Telness Tech we are on a mission to shape the non-existing #teltech space and ensure that telecom becomes a joyful experience for everyone.
Since the start of our venture last year we have acquired several customers on our white-label PBX solutions. Since the launch of Telness and now Telness Tech we’ve always strived to offer the most user-friendly products available in the market.
As a result of rapid growth, we are now expanding our team with a digital marketing manager that will take ownership of our web and social presence, as well as become our overall brand ambassador and storyteller. This is our first position in the marketing department, and you will report directly to the CCO. In this role you will have the opportunity to shape our brand building and positioning from the ground up. Telness Tech has already been recognized as a serious player by receiving coverage in The Times and other reputable outlets in the UK. Now it’s time to bridge that communication and ensure that we reach potential customers in all relevant channels.
What we are looking for
Tech B2B marketer with experience from the SaaS space that are passionate about building strong brand awareness in an up-and-coming and fast-growing space. To succeed in this role, it is important that you’ve experience with B2B2C products in the tech space from before. Since we are operating with high value deals and long-term partnerships it’s all about building trust towards our partners and positioning Telness Tech as a thought leader in our space.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibility will be to ensure that Telness Tech is considered a leader in its field through various efforts online both written (case studies, blogs, campaigns) and live content via our social channels (LinkedIn) and trade shows etc.
Further you will be responsible for building the reporting framework, identifying key metrics for us to work towards and tracking and reporting on these to demonstrate the success of your campaigns and other marketing efforts in order to drive sales.
Take ownership of our website and keep it up to date with relevant case studies, blog posts and other relevant content
Planning, managing and executing various marketing programs and campaigns across channels including web, social, email, and webinar events
Write copy for marketing collateral and develop and maintain business development collateral
Contribute to client acquisition, engagement, and retention
Establish reporting framework to gather valuable insights and metrics
Keep up to date on online marketing trends
Together with the CCO you will be responsible for coordinating the work and set strategy and plans together with our British PR firm (and other firms in the future)
Requirements
B2BC SaaS knowledge
Experience with Google Analytics and SEO
Experience building and executing digital campaigns end-to-end (especially LinkedIn)
Experience from maintaining and updating ecommerce platforms such as Storyblok, Wordpress or similar
Good knowledge of CRM systems and automation tools
Ability to track and report on key data metrics
Finger on the pulse of new trends
Strong eye for design (experience with a design tool and/or video editing is a big plus)
Ability to take ownership and work independently
Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbally)
International experience is a big plus

We offer a supportive working environment with the possibility to work remotely although we have an office in Stockholm where we meet at least once a month. Telness, a Swedish MVNO was founded by former Telenor executive Martina Klingvall with the ambition to change the standards within the telecom industry.
Today Telness serves over 12 000 SMEs in Sweden and has an average customer happiness score of 4.8/5 on Trustpilot which makes it one of the highest rated operators in Sweden. The company’s customer centric approach and fast growth has intrigued telco companies all around the world.
